Share your time with Albuquerque children and help them learn the game of soccer. Zia FC will provide full support from Challenger British Soccer to make this a rewarding experience for parents and players alike.
The Zia FC mission and philosophy is for children to have fun, while growing to love the sport of soccer and creating strong relationships with peers and parents through patience and positive reinforcement.
To effectively execute the Zia FC mission, we rely on parent involvement!
Parents may choose to be the TEAM PARENT or COACH.
Examples of volunteer duties include:
Coach: Coordinate weekly team practices, communicate to team via www.ziafc.net Team Communication link, distribute team uniforms, encourage positive behaviors and positively reinforce soccer skills during games, etc. No previous soccer knowledge required! Our league structure AND support from Challenger British Soccer Coaches and The Challenger Way is designed so you can learn the game as quickly as your children! We encourage our coaches to referee at least one game during the season to experience it firsthand.
Team Parent: Coordinate snack schedule for games on www.ziafc.net Team Communication link, help coach with team coordination, such as practice date/times, trophy purchases/distribution, team photos, uniform distribution, etc. (Zia FC will be offering trophy purchase and distribution via Zia FC, and is coordinating the End of Zia Futbol Season Celebration)

Zia FC is committed to a fun and non-competitive soccer atmosphere for Albuquerque children and we could use your help to ensure our program's future success, as well as provide opportunities for children who otherwise would not be able to play without a scholarship.
Zia FC sponsors the Zia FC World Cup Challenge Celebration for both Fall and Spring soccer seasons with fun for the entire family. Donations go to scholarships and the end of season party. Zia FC has provided as many as 35 scholarships to well deserving children, and hopes to continue to do so every season.
